Do you have a second professional life?
Operations at Lyons Den Power Yoga.
What are your outside interests outside the studio?
Hiking, stand up paddle board, cooking, eating, traveling and reading.
Where’s your favorite space to rejuvenate in the city?
The Battery Park City Esplanade. I prefer a certain corner of the esplanade in South Battery Park that juts out into the water and has stunning views of the Hudson River and Statue of Liberty.
Favorite pre- and post-yoga snacks/meals:
Pre – apples or bananas with peanut butter or trail mix. Post – cobb salad (hold the bacon and substitute goat cheese) plus a side a hashbrowns from the Kitchen Sink, formerly known as the Moonstruck Diner.
What’s your favorite pose?
Frog Pose…nothing better than a long, intense hip opener at the end of class.
The pose I have a complicated relationship with:
Triangle. I’ve been practicing yoga for nine years and I still can’t figure out my hips in the pose.
What song can you put on repeat?
